Olympia Artesian Vodka The Botanist affectionately known as the SixteenA deeply smooth Vodka, made with natural artesian water. Leopold Schmidt was born in Germany in 1846. Besides being an adventurer with a serious case of wanderlust, he was a master of the art of German brewing. After perfecting his brewing skills in his homeland, he arrived in the Pacific Northwest in 1895 to found Capital Brewing Company (later Olympia Brewing Company) in Washington. Almost two decades ago, however, the brewing operations were moved
